This year I attended the IB Math Studies Training Workshop and spent a great deal of time studying the IB Internal Assessment and Exam. In addition, I studied Statistics, Java, and a number of interesting real-world applications of mathematics. By way of example, it is possible to use a matrix to rotate a graphical image (and this is what happens in a computer game), or it is possible to use the logic we learned in class to perform binary computer calculations, using basic mathematical operators.
